This is a psychological thriller about Rowena Price (Halle Berry), a journalist, who attempts to discover the truth behind the brutal murder of her childhood friend Grace (Nicki Aycox). Prior to her death, Grace asked for Rowena’s favour to take Harrison Hill (Bruce Willis), a famous advertising executive , down out of her anger towards him for cutting her off after having sexual affairs. This leads Harrison to become Rowena’s main suspect. In order to find the proof, Rowena goes undercover as a temp at Harrison’s company. With the help of her friend, Miles Haley (Giovanni Ribisi), the mystery pieces are coming together but there seems to be something missing….
I don’t want to talk too much about this film because I might end up spilling too much. The keywords here is “psychological thriller drama with surprising events and unexpected twists”. That should be enough to decide if you’d be interested in watching.
The movie is not something I would want to rewatch or add to my DVD collection but it’s a pretty decent movie to spend two hours on.
Perfect Stranger is just an average movie I guess.
