Updates: I’ll be flying back to my hometown for a week. Haven’t seen mom and dad for a while and my brother’s wedding is only a month away! I still have lots of things to study and am looking for part-time job rather desperately. Currently hooked on How I Met Your Mother because I forbid myself to watch Chuck during study break. Err…I know, it defeats the purpose.
In the meantime, I’ll leave you with short verdicts of some of the movies I watched last week:
Sunshine Cleaning (2008)
Interesting story and great performances by Amy Adams and Emily Blunt.

Chloe (2009)
It felt like a total waste of time.

Shrek Forever After (2010)
A disappointing final installment of the Shrek movies.
Mel says: 4.8/10
Passengers (2008)
Didn’t expect the movie to be any good but it was alright.
Mel says: 6.5/10
Boy (2010)
A heart warming comedy and one of the better New Zealand films.
Mel says: 7.5/10
Date Night (2010)
Never been a fan of Steve Carell’s movies but this is an exception.
Mel says: 7/10
